Violet by Meg Stuart: February 23rd, 8:00PM – 10:00PM
Contemporary dance has arrived in Karachi! Join ‘Violets’ descent into a whirlwind of energy – an amalgamation of swirling forms and patterns boosted by live electronic and percussion music. Five incredible dancers take the stage to deliver an international standard performance orchestrated by Berlin based choreographer Meg Stuart. Elixir Zoo Family Funday: February 24, 3:00PM – 7:00PM
This large scale, family oriented carnival is a great way to visit some lovely local and international wildlife up close while supporting efforts to educate our populace about endangered species and animal cruelty concerns. Elixir Zoo’s free event will be a perfect Sunday to bring your loved ones to the only facility of its kind in our city. An evening full of prizes, food options, musical performances and celebrity sightings will give you the opportunity to help advance the KDSP’s mission of inclusion and support for disabled youths and adults in the country. At the highly esteemed, recreational facility of the National Sailing Centre, organisers Ace Planners present us ‘Knockout 3.0’ – a music event featuring local Karachi talent, from underground up-and-comers to established artists on their own respective paths to stardom.
