Adventure tourism in Pakistan is on the rise, and a number of adventure tourism agencies have taken the lead in establishing a multitude of events. At this pivotal moment in Pakistan’s history, it’s more important than ever to enshrine the myriad of gems that are our beautiful tourist destinations littered across the vast expanse of the country. Many tours in exotic or culturally significant sites relatively close to Karachi are being organised at an impressive frequency.

Karachi Travellers Group (KTG):

With a following of thousands on social media and an excellent reputation to match, the KTG have taken huge steps to help Karachiites appreciate the vast scope of our countries exotic tourist opportunities. Cave City of Gondrani Balochistan Day Trip

Feb 3rd: 7AM-9AM

This single day trip takes tour goers to the mountains of Balochistan, in search of the secluded, eerie Cave City of Gondrani. One of Balochistan’s less known treasures, the impressive, interlinked series of caves have been carved at many levels, with rooms and open air verandahs providing comfort and an all encompassing sense of peace.

Gorakh Hill Station Weekend Tour

Feb 9th 1AM – Feb 10 8PM

Situated nearly 100 Kilometers Northwest of Dadu City in the Kirthar Mountains is Gorakh Hill Station. At an altitude of 1734 Meters, it is one of the highest plateaus in Sindh, stretching over 2500 acres of land. With beautiful shades of color over the sculpted mountains, stars littering the night sky and fresh, cool air, this weekend tour is a perfect getaway relatively close to Karachi.

Sapat Beach Buji Koh Day Excursion (Feb 10 1AM-7PM) & Sapat Beach Buji Koh Night Camping (Feb 16 10AM-Feb 17 6PM)

Known for its mud rock formations, sand dunes, caves and the steep, isolated cliff overlooking the tides and sand, this pristine destination is ideal for any interested explorers looking for a short lived escape.  Located on the Makran Coastal Line 250 KM from Karachi, it is relatively close for anyone interested. The lengthy day excursion is a fantastic way to spend your Sunday familiarising yourself with one of the most famous sandy beaches in Pakistan, and the night camping trip over two days involves its own special attractions, including off road drives in 4×4 vehicles, the bioluminescent glowing beach and a bonfire to end the night.
