The all-female comedy troupe consists of a number of multi-talented standup performers, including the raw improv talent in Natalia Gul and the super witty, commanding presence of Faiza Saleem.
They’re actively discrediting deep-rooted stereotypes in our culture. Through no-holds-barred humour, improvisational talents that compliment each other and an excellent work ethic, they’ve carved out their own niche in Karachi’s on-fire comedy scene.

Exactly three years on from their gender-defying start, they’ve proven that versatile, dynamic women in Karachi can’t be held back by biases and conventions for too long. The space for female comedians is no longer a void – trailblazers like the Khawatoons have set the stage for future female comedians to amplify their own voices and platforms.
