Atif Aslam Live Concert

This concert at KN Academy is yet another opportunity to see our country’s ultimate rockstar Atif Aslam live in performance. Natasha Baig is a singer-songwriter from Hunza Valley, who sings in a variety of genres, including Sufi rock. Fizza Javed is a Karachi based artist who appeared on Coke Studio Season 8. Barkat and Uzmi are local comedians and actors. All are featured in this lineup of talent before Atif Aslam takes to the stage live in Karachi once more. Mezzotono: Italian Orchestra without Instruments
March 27: 8-10PM
The Capella group Mezzotono are known for their original performances – without using instruments. Using their 5 voices imitating the sounds of instruments and covering music styles from jazz, pop, tango, folklore, classical and much more, they are a much sought after act. They’ve performed in over 45 countries and a variety of venues, including festivals, opera houses, and concerts for Italian television and theatre. Come to the National Academy of Performing Arts (NAPA) this Wednesday evening for an authentic Italian orchestra experience from this creative group. Karachi Sky Lantern Festival
March 30 & 31: 12PM-12AM
The return of former Akcent members TWO will be the highlight of this weekends Sky Lantern Festival at Captain Farhan Ali Shaheed Park. Yet another giant event on sea-view, the Sky Lantern Festival will have a wide range of shows and food stalls galore. Some of the other countless featured acts will include the Chipmunks Crew with some phenomenal dance moves and professional Cardist Hamza displaying high level magic tricks with a deck of cards. Among other things, the festival aims to promote a greener, more responsible Pakistan, with a focus on preserving the natural environment.

Curated by Omer Wasim and Seher Naveed, with works by artists like Ayesha Jatoi, Zulfikar Ali Bhutto and more, Vasl Artists’ Association invites you to this unique art exhibition. As part of an ongoing project with exhibits capturing the social issues of our time, this exhibition is a demonstration of what artistic expression can say about the contemporary anxieties we are subject to as prisoners to our politics. The exhibition will be on until Thursday, so you should definitely stop by before it ends.
