Description

Synopsis of Play:

The story is a love triangle, mixed with politics. Tameezuddin and Qutbuddin are radicals who barely make a living working on their magazine, Gup Shup, which is dedicated to fighting "the system" in Pakistan. Sophie, a girl who moves into their apartment next door who is a Receptionist by profession. It's love at first sight (or, as the play has it, first smell) for Tameezuddin, but his feelings are not reciprocated. Tameezuddin's obsession with Sophie makes Qutbuddin hire her just to keep the magazine going. Then Sophie falls for Qutbuddin, though they are at odds politically, threatening to destroy the magazine and the men's friendship.
