What is the course duration and class schedule?
It’s a 12-week diploma course with a total of 108 teaching hours. Put simply, it’s going to take just three months for you to excel at producing high quality visual content. The classes are starting from 22nd November and be open every Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 6pm to 9pm.
Who is the instructor?
The instructor is none other than the photography maestro, documentary photographer, film director and professor of photography, Rehmatullah Khan, who has been head over heels in love with his work since 1981. Originating from Karachi, Rehmatullah Khan is an MBA marketing degree holder who spent a decade in the marketing field before dedicating rest of life to his passion. He is associated with Alliance Française de Karachi form past 22 years. It was year 2006, when at the very cultural center, he introduced Pakistan’s first diploma in photography. Khan has taught at various universities including Greenwich University, Bahria University, SZABIST, IoBM, Federal Urdu University, and Karachi University where his curriculum included associated photography courses like Photography & Photojournalism, Advertising & Print Media, and TV & Video Production.
Khan is currently working on a number of books associated with photography, namely; A Dictionary of Photography, Graphic Art, Print Media, and Electronic Media. He is also compiling a photographic book about Buddha sites in Pakistan. Meanwhile, one of his photographic albums about the Chinese province Xinjing’s is in the final stages of publication.
