Rahat Fateh Ali Khan is a Pakistani musician, primarily of Qawwali, a devotional music of the Muslim Sufis. He is the nephew of the late Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan and the son of Farrukh Fateh Ali Khan and also the grandson of Qawwali master Fateh Ali Khan. He is considered one of the greatest Qawwali vocalists of his generation and has been awarded several national and international awards for his contributions to music.

Rahat Fateh Ali Khan began his career as a qawwal at a young age, performing with his uncle Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan.
