After leaving its footprints in various countries, Pakistan will be officially hosting the APICTA Awards this year for the first time in 20 years!

APICTA – Asia Pacific ICT Alliance, is an association of ICT communities nominated by 16 member economies in the region, who come together in the spirit of collaboration, forming a cooperative network to promote technology innovation and encouraging the development of indigenous ICT solutions for the global market via an annual awards program. Members of APICTA consist of 16 economies including Australia, Bangladesh, Brunei Darussalam, China, Chinese Taipei, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Japan, Macao, Malaysia, Myanmar, Pakistan, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Thailand, and Vietnam.

The Asia Pacific ICT Alliance Awards (APICTA Awards) is an international awards program organized by APICTA, aims to increase ICT awareness in the community and assist in bridging the digital divide. By providing networking and product benchmarking opportunities to ICT innovators and entrepreneurs in the region, the program is designed to stimulate ICT innovation and creativity, promote economic and trade relations, facilitate technology transfer, and offer business matching opportunities via exposure to venture capitalists and investors.

The APICTA Awards 2022 are scheduled from December 7-11, in Islamabad.

This is a strategic and historical moment for economic growth and development opportunities in Pakistan. The majority of APICTA delegations will be visiting Pakistan for the first time and at least 200 international delegates are expected for the 5-day event, including IT leaders, entrepreneurs, policymakers, foreign officials, researchers, and students which will help further strengthen the progressive image of Pakistan.
