Look no further because this workshop on blogging and article writing will rescue you from the dark abyss of writer’s block!
DHA Suffa University brings to you a 4 week Workshop on Blogging, Article Writing and Content Creation, at a total cost of Rs. 15000. Starting from the 18th of February, classes will be held twice a week; Tuesday 6pm to 8pm and Sunday 12.30pm to 2.30 pm. PSL Opening Ceremony
Tayyar Ho?! With this resounding theme, HBL PSL is back with its 5th season as the nations gears up to be thrilled and excited by a month of power packed and exhilarating spectacle that T20 cricket has proven to be.
Here is everything you need to know about the Opening Ceremony! It will be held in the fortress that is Karachi’s National Stadium on the 20th of February from 7pm to 10pm. The management of HBL PSL V has announced that grand firework display a At 8 PM in the sky will take place and PSL Stars will come on the stage with a BOOM. The ceremony stars a star-studded line up to entertain the cricketing fans of this nation. The legendary Rahat Fateh Ali Khan will grace the stage, so will Aima Baig who will be performing for the second time. The King of Bhangra Abrar-ul-Haq will set the stage on fire, as will the ‘Tayyar Hain’ anthem boys led by Ali Azmat, Arif Lohar, Haroon and Asim Azhar.
Let the entire nation arise to welcome its favorite brand of T20 cricket because finally cricket has come back home!
Classical Music Without Borders ft. Alessandro Commellato
Since 2018, Alliance Française de Karachi’s unique international concert series has been introducing the public to phenomenal musicians from all around the world, who have performed everything, ranging from traditional Japanese music to Baroque, from Rossini to Gershwin. The series even featured international opera singers, pianists, brass players, and the list goes on. This time, organized by the French and Italian Consulates, Alliance Francaise de Karachi is bringing the renowned Alessandro Commellato to Karachi! Skilled in the art of pianoforte, Commellato studied music in Milan under Carlo Vidusso and Franco Gei and perfected himself with the help of Pier Narciso Masi, Evgeny Malinin and Sergio Fiorentino, all skilled in their fields.
Commellato will perform at Alliance Francaise de Karachi on Friday, the 21st of February 2020. The mini concert will start at 8 pm. Attendance is either through an invitation or registration only. Take a detour here for more details.

Habib University’s third comic convention, HUCon 3000, is back with a bang! A celebration of the fictional, this convention offers a multitude of opportunities for your love of fandoms to bloom. The event includes FMV Competition, a personal favourite the Cosplay Walk, KPOP performance by Indigo 18, Gaming Tournament. Moreover Guest Speaker Usman Riaz will also be in attendance to share his experiences. Sing along the tunes as the Karaoke set-up will bring the hidden singer inside you out in the open.

AKU Sports Olympiad 2020
Join AKU at the 3rd AKU Sports Olympiad, scheduled from February 21 – 28 2020, at the Aga Khan University, Karachi. Take advantage of the indoor and outdoor sports facilities of international standards at the Sports and Rehabilitation Centre at AKU and compete with the best male and female athletes across the country in the following sports.

ZABTHEATRE’20
SZABIST Performing Arts Society is proud to present ZABTHEATRE, for the 5th time, taking place on the 22nd and 23rd of Feburary 2020 at the Arts Council.
ZABTHEATRE’20 is a theatre competition, an initiative taken by the SZABIST Performing Arts Society to encourage the younger and the more-free spirited generation of Pakistan to be active in the Theatre scene of Karachi. It’s a podium where teams from various schools, colleges and universities from across Karachi and even Pakistan perform theatrical plays, the genre of which the team can choose itself. Over 10 teams from different schools/colleges/universities will participate and showcase their theatrical capabilities in front of a live audience and a panel of credible judges.
