Aiming to set a new standard for ‘festival outings’ in Karachi, Zerograv intends to create an all-encompassing event ideal for all age groups in the city.With stalls of Karachi’s most hype eateries, awesome merchandise and an impressive range of activities on offer, Zerograv hopes to generate an unparalleled atmosphere for this fully loaded 2-day festival.[/vc_column_text][vc_gallery interval=”0″ images=”2902,2893″ img_size=”large” onclick=”” css_animation=”fadeInLeftBig”][vc_column_text]The seminal thrust of the festival is to convey the necessity of ending the rampant urban deforestation in our city, and to advocate for the restoration of Karachi’s native forests.
A number of community oriented initiatives and activist organisations are sponsoring the event and supporting the community organisation called Urban Forest – a collective of environmentally conscious individuals dedicated to creating a number of fast growing urban forests all over Karachi. Jumping castles, trampolines, and ‘ball pits’ will be parallel to ongoing football, basketball and volleyball games. There will be setups for table tennis, foosball, ring toss, darts, and air hockey, as well as tarot card readings, face paintings, tables to play Jenga or Super Fight, opportunities for ‘song dedications’, a whole host of word games requiring the interactions of multiple participants… [/vc_column_text][vc_gallery interval=”0″ images=”2891″ img_size=”large” onclick=”” css_animation=”fadeInRightBig”][vc_column_text]They’ve covered all their bases. The ambience of the Urban Forest will be a breath of fresh air from the Festivals Karachi is used to. Amazing bites from Rotisserie, D’OH and more will be readily available throughout, and stalls from The Harley District will be one of the main attractions. Razzak Noorani will be dropping sets from the DJ booth.
