The special, stress-relieving effects of prolonged, voluntary silence cannot be understated.
Our bodies and minds are regularly subject to countless external stressors – work commitments, family obligations, compounding fatigue from our daily routine and much more. And yet, very few people put the time and energy into unwinding.
The Yoga Well is offering you the opportunity to temporarily cast your busy life aside and engage in quality time with yourself. You will experience true stillness and quiet as you are lead through mindful yoga, breath meditation, walking and a body scan. You will also be offered a light vegetarian lunch in the early afternoon, combined with a mindful eating practice.
Shahbano Lodhi is a University of Toronto trained mindfulness facilitator using scientifically tested and proven methods of mind and body practices. Her sessions are designed to relieve stress, anxiety, chronic illness and pain, and can improve the quality of an individual’s interpersonal interactions and general well-being.
